Your Privacy Choices
BatchData is a registered data broker with the California Privacy Protection Agency under the California Delete Act, Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.99.80 et seq. This page is how you exercise your privacy rights with us. For full details about how we collect, use, and share personal information — including your rights by state and how we verify identity — see our Privacy Policy. Our annual consumer request metrics are on the Consumer Request Metrics page.
Make a request
- Use the form to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, opt out of targeted advertising or profiling, see what personal information we have about you, get a portable copy, correct it, delete it, submit a Covered Person suppression request, or appeal a decision we made on an earlier request.
- You do not need to verify your identity to opt out. We ask only for what we need to locate your records, we do not use it for marketing, and we do not add it to our commercial database.
- By mail: BatchData Privacy Team, 1111B S Governors Ave #57570, Dover, DE 19904
- California residents: you can delete your personal information from BatchData and every other registered data broker at the same time through the California Privacy Protection Agency's Delete Request and Opt-Out Platform ("DROP"). You do not need to contact us separately. We check DROP at least once every 45 calendar days and delete every matched record.
Global Privacy Control
- We honor Global Privacy Control opt-out preference signals. When you enable GPC in a supported browser, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.
- GPC applies to the browser and device where you enable it. Use the request form on this page to apply an opt-out across all of our records about you.
Your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. We treat it as an opt-out of sale and sharing for this browser.
Judges, law enforcement, and protected persons
- If you are a judge, law enforcement officer, prosecutor, or New Jersey child protective investigator — or you live in the same household as one — select "Covered Person suppression" in the request form on this page.
This page covers requests under:
- Daniel's Law, N.J.S.A. 56:8-166.1 et seq. (P.L. 2015, c.226, as amended, most recently by P.L. 2023, c.113)
- The federal Daniel Anderl Judicial Security and Privacy Act of 2022, enacted as part of Pub. L. 117-263, Div. E, Title LIX
- Cal. Gov. Code §§ 7928.200–7928.205 (formerly § 6254.21)
- Any comparable state or federal statute providing identity-protection rights to judicial officers, law enforcement, prosecutors, or other protected categories
- These requests are handled on a much faster timeline: within 72 hours where the federal Daniel Anderl Judicial Security and Privacy Act applies, and not later than 10 business days under Daniel's Law and comparable state statutes.
- You do not need to provide documentation. You establish eligibility by attestation.
Who is a Covered Person
You are a Covered Person if you are:
- An active, formerly active, or retired judicial officer, law enforcement officer, prosecutor, or New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency child protective investigator;
- A federal judge, or another at-risk individual protected under the Daniel Anderl Judicial Security and Privacy Act;
- A person protected under Cal. Gov. Code §§ 7928.200–7928.205 (formerly § 6254.21) or a comparable state or federal identity-protection statute; or
- An immediate family member residing in the same household as any of the above. Under Daniel's Law this means a spouse, child, or parent of, or any other family member related to that person by blood or by law, who lives in the same household.
If you are unsure whether you qualify, submit the request. We would rather review a request that turns out not to qualify than miss one that does.
How quickly we act
BatchData acts on Covered Person suppression requests promptly and in every case within the deadline imposed by the applicable law — not later than 10 business days under Daniel's Law, and within 72 hours where the federal Daniel Anderl Judicial Security and Privacy Act applies.
