Buy Box API

Put your property in front of proven buyers

Give Buy Box a property address and it returns the investors most likely to purchase it, based on their historical buying patterns and the similar properties they already own nearby. Every investor comes back with phone numbers and emails, so your team can start the conversation the same day.

Meet Buy Box

We rank the investors most likely to close.

Every investor has a buy box: the kind of property they keep purchasing. Buy Box reads those patterns across BatchData's investor profiles and returns the buyers whose portfolios already prove they buy what you are selling, with contact details attached.

STEP 1

Enter a property address

Start with the property you want to sell. Add details like bedrooms, size, year built, and search area to narrow in on the right buyers.

STEP 2

We find similar properties

Buy Box finds nearby properties that look like yours, then identifies the investors who own them or have bought and sold them.

STEP 3

You get the buyers

Receive a ranked list of investor profiles, largest portfolios first by default or sorted by any field you pick, with phones, emails, and mailing addresses included.

A companion to the Comparable Properties API

Both take the same input: a single property. Comparable Properties returns the matched properties. Buy Box pivots to the owner side and returns the investors who hold them. Teams already using one can add the other without changing their request model.

Built for your business

Built for every team with properties to sell

Whether you move one house a month or a thousand, Buy Box puts named, reachable buyers behind every property you need to sell.

Fix-and-Flip Investors

Before the renovation wraps, pull the investors who already own homes like yours nearby and see how many they bought in cash, so you line up a buyer while the paint is still drying.

Wholesalers

Turn every signed contract into a ranked buyer list in seconds, complete with tested phone numbers and emails, so you can assign deals faster and stop building buyer lists by hand.

Agents and Brokers

Match off-market and hard-to-place listings to the investors who already hold similar inventory, and walk into every seller meeting with named buyers instead of a promise to market the home.

iBuyers and Institutional Sellers

Find buyers for an entire resale pipeline by pointing Buy Box at each home and filtering investors by portfolio size, purchases in the last 12 months, and property type mix.

Landlords and Portfolio Owners

Selling a rental or a whole portfolio? Find the landlords whose current holdings look like yours, sorted by how many properties they own and how long they typically hold them.

PropTech Platforms

Add a buyer finder to your product with a single API call. Every result is the standard BatchData Investor Profile, so it fits the data model your users and your engineers already know.

The modern data stack advantage

Built on a foundation you can trust

Multi-Source Resilience

Investor profiles are assembled from many public and proprietary sources, so a gap in one record does not leave you without a buyer.

Operational Accuracy

Phone and email flags for reachability, testing, and Do Not Call status travel with every contact, so outreach lands and stays compliant.

Faster Time-to-Value

One request returns the buyers, their portfolios, and their contact details together. No stitching lists, no separate lookups, no waiting.

Frequently asked questions

It starts with your property. Buy Box finds properties with similar characteristics using the same matching engine as our Comparable Properties API, then identifies the investors who own or have transacted on those properties. Filters for bedrooms, living area, year built, and distance let you control how tight the match is, and a minimum activity threshold keeps one-off owners out of your results.

Not today. Buy Box returns the investors behind properties similar to yours and sorts them by a single field you choose, with largest portfolio first as the default. Each profile includes the investor's own buying signature, such as typical purchase price, year built, and property type mix, so your team can judge fit at a glance.

A quick list is a yes-or-no tag applied to a property, like absentee owner or high equity. A buy box is a statistical picture of an investor's buying behavior: bedroom mix, price range, geography, and more. Quick lists filter properties. Buy boxes describe investors.

They are companions built on the same engine and the same input. Comparable Properties returns the matched properties. Buy Box returns the investors who own them. The Buy Box response also includes the property IDs that produced the investor list, so you can pull full detail on any of them with Property Lookup.

Yes. The Investor Profile dataset is available on its own with its own data dictionary. Buy Box uses that same profile as its output, so anything you learn about the schema carries over between the two.
